Agreement to these terms

By using mrcalldesigns.com, its newsletters, videos, social channels or design sessions (together, “the Services”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services. “Mr Call Designs,” “I,” “me” and “my” refer to Mr Call Designs and its founder.

My opinions are my own

Every review, grade, score and recommendation, including those made under the FS05™ method and the 100-Sofa Project, is my personal opinion, based on my experience and the information available to me at the time. They are not statements of fact, guarantees of quality, or the views of any brand, retailer or partner.

Products change. Manufacturers update materials, construction, pricing and availability without notice, and your experience with a product may differ from mine.

How I use AI

I use artificial intelligence tools to help with parts of my work, including drafting and editing copy, research, organizing data, creating or editing images and illustrations, and building parts of this website.

The opinions, grades and final editorial decisions are mine. AI can make mistakes, so some images may be illustrative rather than exact product photos, and I review AI-assisted content before it’s published. If you spot an error, please tell me and I’ll correct it.

Independence and sponsorships

Reviews are not paid for, and brands do not approve what I publish. If I ever receive payment, free products, affiliate commissions or any other material connection related to something I feature, I will disclose it clearly on that content, in line with FTC guidelines. Any partnership is listed on the Partnerships page.

Not professional advice

Content on this site and in design sessions is for general information and inspiration. It is not architectural, engineering, construction, legal, financial or safety advice. Always confirm measurements, weight limits, materials, flammability and fire codes, and product specifications with the manufacturer or a licensed professional before you buy, build or install anything.

You are responsible for your own purchasing and design decisions, and for how you use anything you learn here.

Prices, links and third parties

Prices, dimensions and availability are shown as I found them at the time of review and may have changed. I link to retailers and other sites for convenience only. I don’t control those sites and am not responsible for their content, products, pricing, shipping, returns, warranties or privacy practices. Any purchase is between you and the seller.

Video design sessions

Sessions are advisory conversations. Recommendations are based on the photos, video, dimensions and information you share, so their accuracy depends on yours. I don’t supervise contractors, install anything or take responsibility for work carried out by others.

Sessions are covered by a 100% money-back guarantee: if you’re not satisfied, contact me within 7 days of your session for a full refund. Rescheduling and cancellation terms are shown at booking.

Limitation of liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mr Call Designs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from purchases, design decisions or reliance on content. My total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Mr Call Designs harmless from claims arising from your use of the Services or your breach of these terms.

Intellectual property

All original content, including text, photos, videos, graphics, grade marks and the FS05™ method, belongs to Mr Call Designs unless noted otherwise. FS05™ is a trademark of Mr Call Designs. You’re welcome to share links and short quotes with credit; please don’t copy, republish or sell my content without written permission.

Product names, logos and images belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and review purposes only. If you own content that you believe has been used improperly, please contact me and I’ll respond promptly.

Privacy

If you join The Inside Voice or download a guide, I collect your email address to send you the newsletter and related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. I don’t sell your personal information.

This site is hosted on Squarespace, which uses cookies and analytics to operate and measure the site. Photos and details you share for a design session are used only to prepare for and deliver that session. California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information by contacting me.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. I may update them from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the Services means you accept the changes. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
